Breast Cancer Spreading Fast in Kashmir

Srinagar, March 9: One out of 12 women in Cashmere have got inclinations to develop breast cancer.

The experts uncover that breast malignant neoplastic disease is common in Kashmir. "It is the 4th most common malignant neoplastic disease in Cashmere after the malignant neoplastic diseases of nutrient pipe, stomach, lung and lymphoma", said the experts.

The experts additional said the incidents of breast malignant neoplastic disease increased from 1208 lawsuits in 2005 to 1301 lawsuits in 2006. "In 2007, 200 new lawsuits of breast malignant neoplastic disease were reported in Cashmere while the follow-up cases scope in thousands".

Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, caput of the Oncology section of Kashmir's prima infirmary described breast malignant neoplastic disease as a "new challenge" more than so than deceases as a consequence of war.

The experts said that the urban women are more than prostrate than rural areas. "The hazard of developing breast malignant neoplastic disease increased with age. Over 70 percentage of breast malignant neoplastic disease happens in women over 50 old age of age. Only some 5 to 10 percentage of breast malignant neoplastic diseases may be linked to household history," said Dr Imtiyaz Ali.
