Fresno Sheriff announces she has cancer; surgery scheduled

Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims have revealed that she have breast malignant neoplastic disease and would immediately experience surgery.

Mims states a routine scrutiny caught an early word form of breast cancer. Mims trusts to go back to work within weeks.

Undersheriff George C. Scott Mother Jones will manage personal business while Mims is out.

In an unfastened missive to county residents, Mims states she will seek to work some from place as she recuperates.

Mims was scheduled to experience surgery at Community Checkup Center-Clovis.
